Ludogogy — Learning with Engagement

AI and gamification consultancy helping organisations navigate the intersection of artificial intelligence, game-based learning, and education.

Ludogogy (from Latin ludus = play/game + Greek -gogy = leading/teaching) is Dr Simon McCallum's consultancy specialising in gamification and AI interventions. Founded in 2021, Ludogogy draws on over two decades of academic research and industry experience to deliver practical, evidence-based strategies for organisations seeking to harness the power of games, AI, and engagement-driven design.

Ludogogy works with government agencies, educational institutions, and private industry to develop AI policies, design gamified systems, and create meaningful learning experiences. Services span from strategic consultation on national AI readiness through to hands-on workshop facilitation and bespoke game-based learning design.

Note: Ludogogy (ludogogy.co.nz) is separate from ludogogy.co.uk / ludogogy.professorgame.com, which is a UK-based magazine on game-based learning. While both share a passion for the intersection of games and education, they are independent entities.
